Aerial View Maps

Question about aerial photos using ArcGIS?

i have downloaded some aerial photos from www.pasda.net (pennsylvania spatial data access) and when opened in arcmap they are in 3 bands and black and white. These are suppposed to be color images and appear in color when i open them with windows picture viewer or another software like that. What is the problem and how do i fix it? I really need this imagery in color for my maps.

1. Check the format of your photos that you are importing into ArcGIS. The files may have to be converted into another format (ie. .jpg) in order to display properly in ArcGIS.
