Map with detail?

I need driving directions with a map with specific cities on it. We are driving from Texas to Alaska and I need to plan on where about to stop for the night. But on mapquest it doesnt show specific cities we will be going through! any help??

1. Try Google Earth. You can turn on places of interest which shows places to eat, sleep and see along the way. Googleearth-now.com
2. Google the address, then click on "Maps". You can then set your starting destination...zoom on the map, and even change the route. You can see every city if you zoom in it. Have a great trip!
