i want to use urban satellite images over my mapinfo street layer.Can anyone suggest some good sites?
If anyone can specify how to do it in mapinfo 8.5 it would be great!! Need the images for real estate purposes.

- type urban satellite images on google.... just a guess... or try variations of that.. and also try different search engines....
- Google Earth is an interesting facility and maybe worth checking out. It lets you zoom in through satellite images all over the globe. Great detail, especially in some urbanised areas. I think it's being updated all the time. You need to download it first but it's very easy to use.

- Try www.terraserver.com They've got a huge amount of satellite and aerial imagery that's easily searchable. You'll have to buy the really high resolution stuff, but there's plenty of medium res imagery that I think you can dowload as free georeferenced tiffs (or similar format).
