Which site could provide me satellite images in real time (and not just GPS maps)?
I tried it on google earth, but I found just maps.

- I think it's illegal to provide real-time satellite images in the US, not to mention the espense of relocating a satellite every time someone wants a new image. The best you can hope for is an image taken on the last pass of the satellite over that location, which is availabe on google earth or terraserver.microsoft.com.

- A great question, but I wonder if such a thing is out there outside of at military installations and maybe NASA. The attached link is from NASA and says it is a live satellite view of the earth, but I know I am looking for more, such as zoomable and moveable. While the technology exists, I wonder if the cost to implement a commercial version is practical as a business venture ? The alternative would be something like one provided by NASA, but it might not be considered a good use of tax dollars. I hope I am wrong. I will look for other replies. For the NASA link mentioned, go to: http://www.symivisitor.com/satellite.htm
- On google maps if you zoom in you will be able to see satelitte pictures of the area that you are looking at.
