What is the movie that has a scene with a real-time satellite thermal image of soldiers closing in on enemies?
The movie contains a scene that in a dark military command center, a large screen shows real-time satellite thermal/infrared images of many soldiers moving in a site to capture/kill the enemies. As a person is dying, the infrared image of that person gets dimmer. It's similar to the thermal imaging scene in "Golden Eye", but that's not the movie.

- There are two I can think of. "Patriot Games" and the third X-Men movie. The X-Men movie did not have a person dying but "Patriot Games" did.
- Sounds like a scene in Clear and Present Danger- oops sorry I meant Patriot Games - is that the one with Sean Bean?
- I was going to say X-Men 3 so the first answer beat me to it.
- There is a scene like that in Behind Enemy Lines, where Owen Wilson's character is hiding amongst corps in a mass grave and Gene Hackmans character is on the navy ship watching the satellite thermal images of the enemy closing in on his position and they don't know if he's a live or dead.
