Aerial View Maps

Can anyone reccommend good OS Landranger maps to use between PC & GPS?

I find that the Topo map supplied with my Garmin GPS are rather inadequate. It shows very few place names and the footpaths are bitty and incomplete. I am looking for a proper Os map, either 1:25000 or 1:50000. Can anyone help?

1. You can buy the electronic versions from Ordnance Survey direct - 1 disk does a large chunk of the country, or there is another company - not OS - who do the same. I think they might have the facility oto do that. Look on the ordnance survey web site I would, however still recommend the paper map when you are out and about simply because its a proven technology, and the GPS system arnt so much (battery problems, cracked screens, heat and cold affecting them....)
