Aerial View Maps

Can I put more detailed maps from Topo 4.0 onto my Garmin Etrex legend GPS?

I have a very expensive program with very detailed maps that i would like to have displayed on my GPS it turns out that i cant. i looked on the topo site and I got screwed. the guy below must know sumting that i dont. i wish he would speek up
