Aerial View Maps

Having difficulties with this math problem. Please help?

An aerial photograph from a U-2 spy plane is taken of a building suspected of housing nuclear warheads. When the photograph is taken, the angle of elevation of the sun is 39 degrees. By comparing the shadow cast by the building in question to the shadows of other objects of known size in the photograph, scientists determine that the shadow of the building in question is 76 feet long. How tall is the building? (Round your answer to two decimal places.) _____feet? Thank you for helping me. :)

  1. tan 39 = x/76 x = 61.54 ft
  2. h = 76 tan 39° = 61.54 ft
  3. The answer to your question is the tangent of the angle x the known length of 76. Rounded to 2 dec places is 61.54
