Fujifilm Finepix S1000FD Digital Camera?

I need help, I was wondering whether or not you can buy a remote control to take pictures away from the camera. My camera is the finepix s1000fd by fujifilm. I want to do kite aerial photography.

1. Sorry, the Fujifilm Finepix S1000FD camera does not have the remote capability. You can use the self timer but you are limited to a 10 seconds maximum.
