Can geography experts please help me with cartography?10 points?

Can u answer and also check if my answers are correct.I have test tomorrow.!!!! 1.What is the basic problem involved in all projections? 2.Why has the Mercator projection been so criticized? 3.What is a false color image? Is it an image produced by showing many colors that differ from a normal full photograph would show. 4.What is MSS?(MULTI SPECTRAL SCANNER) It is one of the Earth's observing sensors in the Landsat program.It is used to observe different wave lengths. 5.Why can aerial photos not be used as they are,for making maps? Please help me or else i am dead meat tomorrow.It is my first official geography test or as i would call it geohorror!!!

1. 2. Well, the mercator issue is obvious, none of it is to scale. 5. Aerial photos do not have indication of elevation.

Using colours that differ from reality to emphasise something special (like vegetation) 4. A scanner for observing Earth as part of the Landsat programme. 5. Photos distort the scale. High points are at a larger scale than low points. The edges are at a smaller scale than the centre (Nadir Point)They also need to be adjusted because the aircraft is rarely level. Overthrow obscures detail. It is possible to adjust the photos to plot maps. It requires stereo imaging.
