What are the laws regarding flying rc aircraft?

Is it legal to fly rc helicopters/airplanes anywhere? Do you have to get some sort of license? Is it possible/legal to take aerial photography from them?

1. You need a AMA licence,if you want to do it legally,and a feild for permited AMA licenced flyres,go to your hobby shop and they'll hook you up.

3. DAN gives you good links. It is REALLY dependent on WHERE you live. In San Mateo County, California, it's only legal at ONE location, yet in Calaveras County California it's legal almost anywhere. GOOD LUCK.
