Where is the best place to sit on a 737-300 for aerial photography?
I'll be flying from Long Island, NY to Las Vegas, NV sometime between 7-9AM. Obviously, I want a window seat. I'll also be flying Southwest, and will be checking in early to make sure I get in the A boarding group.

- You want that big seat with the space by the Cabin door. You can stand there and take the photos quite easily.
- On the wing, but I wouldn't recommend it. The cockpit's good, too, but they won't let you in there. Other than that, I'd say having a window seat is about as good as it gets for you since there's nowhere that you'll have access to with a spectacular view. Just make sure you're not seated over the wing, or you won't be able to see much. Of course, the down side is that if it's a long flight, it's gonna be miserable for you because you likely won't have an exit row seat (those are frequently over the wing), and it'll be hard to get in and out of your place. Happy hunting.
- Actually, if you want A Boarding, check-in online exactly 24 hours before our scheduled departure time. For example, if your flight time is 8:30 am, be on the computer at 8:25, and the second the clock hits 8:30, enter your conformation number and booking name on www.southwest.com. Just click, "Check in Online". The best place to sit is in-front of the wing or behind it. That is row 1-7, and rows 13-23. Good luck...
- I always found the rear of the plain was the best place to be , I use my camcorder al the time and get some great footage from there,
- Far enough behind the wing for it not to be an obstruction.
