An aerial photo must be made of envirmental conern. To be distinguishable, an area 300 feet long in reality?
must be 1/8 inch long on the photograph. State this ratio in inches to inches. From what altitude must a picture be taken if the camera has a focal length of .5 feet.

- The ratio would be 1:28,800 ( 300ft = 3600 in to 1/8 in. ) An altitude of 14400 feet with a 1/2 foot lens would give the 1:28,800 ratio ( 14,400 to 1/2 = 28,800 )
