Is it possible to get directions from Yahoo Maps while specifying a specific highway, or route, I want to use?
Wanting to get the written directions from Searcy, AR to Fayetteville, TN using US-64 instead of US-40. The US-40 route is automatically given when addresses are typed and I click on "Get Directions".

- No. I've heard that Rand-McNally maps allows you to specify certain roadways though. Never tried it.
- I agree with the above answerer. That's one reason I purchased Microsoft Streets & Trips. I travel in a motorhome and may need to make a change in my travel plans, the internet may not be available, so I've got MS onboard to look at when I wish. I can program any type of road I wish to use. If I don't mind toll roads or ferries, I just program that in. If I want a senic route, shortest or quickest, that's what I get. Construction updates are available online also. The free online programs are OK, I'll take MS anyday. Good luck
