Aerial View Maps

Which of the following might be of use to a cartographer: aerial photographs,axle and wheels, of handles? WHY?

1. Of those options the most useful is aeriel photographs, particularly satellite photos. They are highly accurate and detailed which is essential for creating accurate and detailed maps.
2. all are important to cartographers and aerial photos and satellite images are not accurate at all until Geo-rectified that is compared to an exsisting map and lined up correctly.
