About how much does it usually cost to get a full size fold up city street map laminated? I am a courier. I am starting out as a temp for a good company. They get temp drivers, and if they become good, they hire them on full time. I have little income right now, but I need at least three full size fold up county maps laminated. I ask this cause my old hometown and the town i live in now are not in street view yet. Blue Springs Missouri and Columbia Missouri are not in street view. Why would Google Street View only map part of a city? I wanted to know why Google would only map part of my city a year and a half ago and just leave without mapping the rest. How can i get the driving directions between two points in my city with Google Maps API? How do I get Google Maps to show city and county boundaries? Since hardly any of them are perfectly square, one cannot assume that what appears when one searches for a city or county displays only the city or county. Even if it did, one would want to see what lies just outside the boundaries. (If you know of better resources than Google Maps, please provide a link.) I believe there are broken lines showing the boundaries but they are VERY hard to see amidst the streets, roads, highways, rivers, etc.

Google Maps: Street View Photos? So I was looking at Google maps of my hometown and clicked on the street view to view my house. I'm amazed at how they have such detailed photos of almost anywhere in the world! My question is, are these all taken by satellite? I realize that the city shots, and yes the street shots are probobly satellite but even the close ups where you can see my car in the driveway, flowers on the porch, and cat in the grass?? I want to map a country so that it will be easy for everybody find streets etc. How can I map a country? In a third world countries yahoo or google maps, streets, cities and intersections are not properly map. How can I work with Yahoo or Google to map a country in Asia? I have been checking Google Earth but countries in the third world countries do not show streets, highways, intersections like here in North America and Europe.
How are GPS Maps made? I like to know how one can make a detailed GPS enabled map i.e. a street map for a city. Why does the hardware (GPS device) used makes a difference? doesn't it?
