NAFTA superhighway? What is the purpose of this? Highway 407 toll-road helps provide proof that U.S. Ambassador is misleading Canadians on fascistic NAFTA superhighway agenda by Paul Chen U.S. Ambassador to Canada David Wilkins. The Highway 407 toll-road, helps provide proof that U.S. Ambassador to Canada, David H. Wilkins, is misleading Canadians on the construction of a North American Free Trade (NAFTA) Superhighway, to enable the creation of a fascistic North American Union. On 8 December 2004, the Canoe Network that is associated with the Sun Newspaper Chain, in Christina Blizzard's article "Hwy 407: Que Pasa?", reported that Cintra, witch is part of a Spanish Consortium, owns the 407 toll-road. It had been a public mystery, why would a company all the way from Spain, spend the time to own and construct a toll-road. Even more of a mystery to me, had been, why would government in Canada award a foreign Spanish bid over a Canadian company? The Coalition to Block the North American Union revealed that the same Cintra company is behind the Trans-Texas Toll-Road Corridor. Map shows apparent intent to eventually link the Spanish built 407 toll-road, to the Trans-Texas corridor, owned by the same Spanish consortium. Maps accredited to the North American Forum on Integration (NAFI), which is a non-profit organization based in Montreal, clearly reveals an apparent intention to link Cintra's Trans-Texas Corridor to the Hwy 407 Toll-Road, which clearly appears to be being built toward Ottawa, within a vast integrated continental toll network. The 407 Toll-Road in turn was being planned since the late 1980's, and supports the assertion by the Coalition against the North American Union, that the Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP), was a part of the agendas of both former Prime Ministers Mulroney and the U.S. President at that time, even before its formal signing in 2005. Map of the Spanish corporate private owned 407 toll-road around the Greater Toronto Area. The Trans-Texas Corridor is being designed to provide U.S. and certain Canadian Big Business interests, with easier access to the importing of the outsourced manufacturing of goods, from a further exploited Mexican labour pool, as well from a further exploited Chinese labour pool. U.S. and certain Canadian corporations which have also been exploiting Chinese labour, have been planning a NAFTA superhighway linked with enhanced port connections, to further increase the ability of Big Business interests to make exploitative commercial profit. Spanish corporate built NAFTA-NAU Superhighway: Looking east from the Highway 50 overpass towards the Highway 407/427 interchange. This interchange is a large 4-level interchange. U.S. Ambassador to Canada, David H. Wilkins wrote in the Ottawa Citizen on Monday, August 20, that "while conspiracy theories abound, you can take it to the bank that no one involved in these discussions is interested in, or has ever proposed a "North American Union", a "North American super highway," or a "North American currency". The first thing to appreciate is that owners of CanWest Global that owns the Ottawa Citizen have been principal financial donors to Prime Minister Stephen Harper and the Conservative Party of Canada. Mr. Harper who is a principal ally of the Bush administration, is also a signatory of the Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP). Therefore, CanWest Global's provision of editorial space to Mr. Wilkins can be seen as an attempt to manipulate the masses through political propaganda. Spanish built NAFTA-NAU Superhighway: Looking east along Highway 407 from the Bathurst Street overpass in Thornhill. Bathurst Street is located roughly at kilometre marker 75. Notice Highway 7 running through the left-side of this photo. Between Dufferin Street and Bayview Avenue, Highway 407 parallels Highway 7 very closely. Secondly, there is ample proof that a NAFTA superhighway is currently being constructed. The NAFTA superhighway is being constructed and developed to facilitate the Big Business agenda that indeed seeks to create an anti-democratic "North American Union". The curiosity of the Hwy 407 toll-road under Spanish corporate ownership is apparent proof of in Canada, of such a SPP-North American Union (NAU) transportation network, that is to be linked with an American toll-road network, with the same ownership. The "NAFTA superhighway", is to become a series of very wide toll-roads to stretch all the way into Canada's north, to rape and pillage Canada's environmental heritage for elite interests connected to a U.S. political-military-industrial complex. NAFTA superhighway is to facilitate the planned consolidation of Canada as an American colony under the clandestine SPP-NAU agenda. It was former U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower who warned the American people upon his retirement from Office that the political-military-industrial complex constitutes a singular threat to democracy. Dr. Ron Paul is among the critics of the NAFTA superhighway. The U.S. Ambassador to Canada does not seem to be demonstrating candour on the on-going construction of the NAFTA superhighway. "This superhighway would connect Mexico, the United States, and Canada, cutting a wide swath through the middle of Texas and up through Kansas City. Offshoots, would connect the main artery to the west coast, Florida, and northeast. Proponents envision a ten-lane colossus the width of several football fields, with freight and rail lines, fibre-optic cable lines, and oil and natural gas pipelines running alongside," says Ron Paul, who represents Texas in the U.S. Congress. The NAFTA superhighway map and agenda appears to have been generated by leaked documents associated with SPP related proceedings, which various groups have sought to disseminate.
how much would a road trip cost from england to texas be? some friends and I in england were thinking of going on a road trip to texas and around that region on motorbikes, however we need to know from an experienced person how much it would roughly cost if were staying a month, buying an aeroplane seat, buying a standard motorbike and riding 6-7 hours a day, refilling at local gas stations and stopping off at motels each night, also any ideas on what would be a good tour route that you have taken before in america? p.s i only need the amount per person any tour route map pictures would be nice :)
Texas adds people & jobs while CA is hemorrhaging them - Will CA become the new Michigan & Texas take #1 spot? Texas: 1) Created more jobs then other 49 combined 9/09 - 9/10 Texas 166,600 other 49 combined 154,400 2) Set to gain 4 new house seats from 2010 census California may lose 1 3) 4 million person gain in census California 1.5 million more left then stayed last decade 4) unemployment under national rate Texas unemployment sept 2010 7.9% California 12.2% MI 12.3% 5) people from states like Michigan & California are flocking to Texas http://www.economist.com/blogs/freeexchange/2010/06/migration 6) Texas has NO income tax only state sales 6.5% Texas stands at #2 in economy & population behind the once golden California. Today California is on a slide backward as liberal good intentions have lead to a sour business climate where once business thrived they now flee the over taxation & regulation. The population is not far behind following those jobs out of the state. With recent elections of more far left liberal progressives to lead the state who are putting all their hopes on "green magic jobs" and wish to raise taxes further. The state of Michigan which has been in a virtual depression for decades appears to be the road map California is following. Texas meanwhile has add 221,000 jobs during the recession and has seen a steady rise in population as well. It has attracted the business fleeing high taxes and over regulation and people too attracted to the great job market and NO income tax. I recently gave blood and my arm hurts.....? When I was donating plasma it became so painful in my arm that I had to stop and they couldn't tell me why I was experiencing pain. When I got home I looked at my arm and my veins were showing more than they ever had. I took of my shirt and I could now see my veins going across my chest and down to my stomach. I could also see the veins going across my chest going to my other arm. My body now looks like a Texas road map. I had never seen my veins before but they are surely there now. I want to know what these people screwed up because they didn't say. I though things would go back to normal after a month or so but that was 5 months ago and I can see them just as clearly now as I could back then.

Can I gate a road that is "off the county map" as in abandoned? Texas county law. On the most recent drawing of my county map part of the road fronting my property was not drawn on the map. The DA told me that on the map means county public road and off the map is abandoned road. Abandoned in Texas means no longer accessible to the public. Based on this should I be able to put a gate across the abandoned road(appropriate signs, reflectors, etc)? It would solve some of the problems with drunks or lost people driving over my property. I will still have to allow access through the gate for 1 neighbor down the hill and I'm hoping this will encourage him to choose the alternate path of ingress/egress and allow this section to be permanently closed. Also whats a hitching post and and stile block? The statute calls for this to be installed with the gate. The road plat still exists. "Abandoned" in Texas means "not accessible to the public" as in no longer a public road. My intention is to make it so difficult for him to get on and off his property through this route that he will agree with closing it and use the other road. He doesn't want to use the other road because he is using that section of the road plat as his YARD. Since its abandoned the county doesn't care. I have to keep the gate unlocked to allow his access to his property. I have to file a vacate request to the judge to get the land back and then I can lock the gate. If the neighbor or anybody else going through the gate doesn't re-close it, thats a misdemeanor offense. I will likely be on hand at certain times of the day to video the going and coming through the gate. Of course he'll complain. However, approaching him about anything died some time ago. I don't have enough room to tell you all the things he and his drunk buddies have done from down the hill.

Planning a road trip across the US? I am planning on taking a road trip across the contiguous US (It's an item on my bucket list.) I was planning on taking a year off to do this, staying a week in each state. (2 weeks in larger states like Texas and California.) I have ordered state guides and maps to plan out the best route so that I can see everything I want in the 1-2 week timeframe. Do you think a week is long enough to see everything I want to see? How much money do you think I would need in total for lodging, gas, food, souvenirs, admittance fees for parks and museums, laundry (I'll have to eventually wash my clothes) etc? I don't plan on taking this trip for at least 3 to 4 years, (I want to finish college first), but any help would be appreciated.

What GPS to get to get for road trip...? What in car GPS would you recommend for me? What I need is one that will talk and let me know when to turn in case I'm not looking at it, will be able to be updated easily, won't require some huge subscription fee to update maps and the most important thing is that I will be able to get it to take a certain road if I choose to take a specific route. That last request is the most important...I live in Fallbrook, Ca and want to be able to get to Route 66 the fastest way and then get to Texas. I'm taking the kids to see family in Tx. and want to show them the mother road. Thanks to all who help!
are most lands where drilling is going on, "public lands"? I pulled off the road to do a map check at a turn in on some back roads in Texas. There were signs showing what energy companies were on the site and there was no "no trespassing" sign. The only sign on the gate said, "Please Close The Gate"

ROAD TRIP QUESTION FOR THOSE WHO HAVE TRAVELED OUT WEST FROM THE EAST COAST? Some friends and I are planning a road trip to Santa Cruz CA. We looked at a map and looked at I think it was 40 and rt. 70 and one is a way going through Texas and Tennessee and all that and then the other was a way going up towards Colorado and Utah and going down towards Nevada and Arizona in which those are two places we would like to visit. Maybe we could go one way and come back another. Does anyone know of a good route or a quick route? Thanks! Would be coming from va/md/dc area. And we're planning for next month, probably a week or more. What to see well, maybe some friends along the way if we go the utah colorado way. New mexico, vegas(we don't plan on staying long just a few hours because we are staying 1 night in AZ with friends) Then to Ca hollywood, la, the whiskey a gogo, santa cruz, we don't really plan on staying in motels just driving and sleeping in the vehicle. And when necessary maybe a motel or campground.
Attempting to buy empty land? I have a piece of property in Harris County, Texas. Just next to my lot is some land that was designated to be a road in the survey, 50 or so years ago. The road was never built, and the land was never cleared or kept clean. I'm trying to find out if I can purchase this land from the state or county. I have been to the county appraisal district and there is no record of anyone owning the land. All the county survey shows it as is a road, but any maps search show it as empty land. Any suggestions on where to get some answers? .
Question for anyone who has been on a road trip to CA or out west from the east coast? Some friends and I are planning a road trip to Santa Cruz CA. Luckenback, texas is where? Want to go to LuckenbACK BUT CANNOT FIND IT ON THE MAP. cAN YOU TELL ME WHAT ROAD IT IS ON?
Probable Cause and Reasonable Suspicion? On August 18, 2005, a Texas state trooper stopped a vehicle traveling on Interstate 10, just outside of Dallas, for a broken taillight. During the stop, the officer noticed numerous food items, a road map on the dashboard, some toiletries scattered about the front seat, and a cell phone sitting in a cup holder on the console of the vehicle. The driver volunteered that he had flown from New Orleans to Los Angeles on August 13, 2005, to pick up the vehicle he was driving, which he had purchased from a friend. He left Los Angeles on August 16, 2005, and headed east on Interstate 10. The driver showed the vehicle’s certificate of purchase to the officer. The officer then questioned the driver about his trip and stay in Las Vegas. The driver said he was enjoying “what L.A. had to offer,” but that he had to get home to New Orleans, where he was due back to his nightclub job. The officer stated that the driver looked toward the highway, in his direction of travel. The officer wrote the driver a citation for the broken taillight and advised him he was free to go. The driver then walked back toward his vehicle. Before the driver got back to his vehicle, the officer asked the driver if there would be any reason why he would be in possession of narcotics. The driver, eyes fixed on the road, simply answered, “No.” The driver continued to walk toward his vehicle and the officer asked if he could search the car. The driver nodded and verbally agreed to the search. The officer attempted to have the driver sign a consent form for the search, but he would not, again verbally insisting it was okay. The officer opened and searched the trunk, found nothing, and moved toward the front of the vehicle. As the officer approached the front passenger-side door to check the glove compartment, he noticed the driver begin to fiddle with his hands. The officer then asked if it was okay to open the glove compartment. The driver verbally agreed, yet remained visibly nervous. The officer found a set of pliers, some thread, and a receipt from a hardware store in Los Angeles. When asked about the purchase, the driver recounted his story to include a trip to L.A. The driver provided the officer with a less-than-concrete description of his plans to meet up with a long-time friend. While in Los Angeles, he bought the pliers and thread to finish some home repairs in New Orleans. The officer responded by summoning a K-9 unit. He explained that he did not believe the driver’s story and wanted a dog to assist with the vehicle search. The driver then made it clear he wanted the search to end and to leave the location. The officer told the driver he could go, but that the vehicle would be detained for search by the K-9 unit. Upon arrival of the K-9 unit, the dog began to bark in the direction of the stopped vehicle. The officer advised that a further search would commence; if the search produced nothing, the vehicle would be released to the driver. The officer obtained a search warrant and the police dog searched the vehicle. A bag of cocaine was found, sewn into the fabric covering the interior roof of the vehicle. The driver was placed under arrest for possession of narcotics. Do you think the police had probable cause or only reasonable suspicion to justify their actions? Would the cocaine found be admissible?
Can you help me put things in perspective , because I feel like losing it? I come from an abusive family. But I took enough steps to get away from them as far as possible. But seems like I made a mistake recently , in that, i went out with this girl that used to like my brother and eventhough I knew how immature and promiscuous she was i kept going out with her because she represented the same dysfunctional construct me and my brother had with my mother. We had to fight for her affection while growing up . Recently I learned that this girl went back to my brother and went to 3rd base with him . I knew there was something terribly wrong with this girl the way she was behaving from the get go. But I was too stupid to not see the red flags. I am so down , because this is a kind of relationship I would have never got involved in , if it wasn't for my brother involved in it ( i hope I am making some sense ) I found out what happened between she and him and i told her it's over. Now 2 things are bugging me right now. First off,I am mad at myself for letting it go this far without seeing the red flags , because other than my brother , she also cheated on me with her own cousin ( i know it sounds like a country song ). I let it go ( i know i sound like an idiot with an IQ of 2 ) I broke up with this person, 2 days ago and my mind is literally out of balance. Since I live alone I don't have many friends. My xgf , who I was with before her, is contacting me on a regular basis. But I don't think she'll be a good match for me since she spit on my face once for Not being there for her in my own apartment and cursed me out when I broke up with her.. I feel like such a loser and as if Noone needs me anymore. This is officially another low point in my life. By the way , the girl and my brother lives in new york and i live in texas. I met her few months ago when I went up there for a cousins wedding . She knows a bit of my secret and my plans , so I am also worried if she'll use that against me, eventhough I ended it with her in such a way that she won't back stab in the future.. I am totally in a bind and have no road map . I am building up my social circle and trying to be more social inorder to not get into a deep depression. But I don't know what to do . Please help me put things in perspective..
How can I stop my dog from ruining my carpet? My blue tick hound dog's name is Rufus. He normally stays outside but I've been letting him come inside since the weather is getting colder. Since he's been inside, he wants to sit and drag his butt across our new carpet. It's getting to the point that the floor rugs looks like a map of the dirt roads of Texas! I called the vet and he said that there's a gland next to the dogs anus orifice that needs to be mashed and massaged clean every so often. How can I stop Rufus from massaging his on our new floor rug? And then just the other night, while me and Juanita was awathing the TV, ole Rufus came in the den and laid up on the floor and began a licking his testickles. I told Juanita, "why just lookie there, I wish I could do that." Jaunita said, " go ahead, he'll probably let you, he's your dog!"
Need help with wording on rehearsal dinner invites!! My parents are throwing us a wedding rehearsal dinner and I can't figure out the proper way to word the invites. The issue is that the rehearsal is not where the dinner will be. I'd like to include both on the invite, but don't want it to be all jumbled and wordy. What's standard protocol on this? I was thinking something like: Please join us for the rehearsal dinner in honor of Jackie and Darryl Dinner to be held at La Fogata Restaurant 7845 Congress Road College Station, Texas on Friday, May 20th at 7:30 p.m. immediately after the wedding rehearsal Dinner will be hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Darryl Gates Map and directions on back But not sure if there is a better way to do this. Thanks!
RHH: WHAT IS YOUR OPINION ON THE HOUSTON LABEL RAP-A-LOT RECORDS? The record label has been out almost as long as Def Jam. In the 90s Houston had some of the most gangster and violent hip-hop, even more so than the West Coast that gets most of the credit for gangster albums. Most of the Rap-A-Lot early releases have gone pretty much unnoticed and only acknowledge by those who dig deep for hip-hop music. So, for this post I'll be shedding some light on the forgotten city of H-town and some of it's gem. In my opinion these are great albums that could make a great addition to your collection: 1991:Geto Boys: We Can't Be Stopped- This one is a straight classic and it's what put Texas on the map. I will not going into detail as I feel this album is already known by most fans, who can forget Mind Playing Tricks on Me? 1992 Big Mello: Bone Hard Zaggin- This album is on some pimp-smooth sh*t. The album has great production that's great for riding in the car and I would dare to say that it's better than the overrated The Chronic. Mac's Drive 'Lac's is the highlight song in my opinion that would give you that southern player style that represents Texas. 1991:Convicts:Convicts- This album is the best ignorant rap album in history. It has some of the most ignorant views, but it's done in a way that's appealing for being so straight forward without holding back. The songs are set to old-style Houston beats, strictly harmonicas and church organs. It's basically the genius of ignorant rap. 1992: Ganksta N-I-P: The South Park Psycho- This one is simply a horrorcore/gansgter rap album. NIP says some of the most weirdest things on this album, like clamming he has had sex with 90 year old grannies to women having sex with pit bulls. Check out it out, if you like dark topics... 91& 94: Scarface: Mr. Scarface Is Back/The Diary- These two albums are pretty much known by most, so I won't say anymore. 1993: Seagram: The Dark Road- This rapper is from Oakland and he was shot to death in 96. The guy talks about dark subject matter and life experiences. Seagram makes a lot of reference of the devil, acknowledging Satan as ruler of the world. This is really Sea's best LP, the dark roads has the old school samples from Tom Tom Club, Isaac Hayes, Zapp, & Chocolate Milk. It also has some groovy feel to it reminiscent to DJ Quik. BQ: What is your favorite album from Texas? Out of all those I HIGHLY recommend Big Mello: Bone Hard Zaggin. Dope. Johnny Blaze: Yeah, definitely check out Bone Hard Zaggin, Mr. Scarface Is Back, The Diary, We Can't Be Stopped first and see how that goes. The production is old-school southern Texas style, nothing like the east or west... s. perrotta - sense makes dollas: Yeah I know, sometimes it gets boring to hear the same thing over and over in this section, wu-tang, nas, mobb deep... and yeah I agree Wegonefunkwichamind is dope. I just mentioned these because I felt most people here would like it, and another two of my favorites is 1989: Willie D - Controversy & 1991: O.G. Style - I Know How to Play 'Em to add to your list...

Anyone ever bought an airgun from Air Guns Warehouse? I bought the Walther CP99 bb from them. I ordered it Monday morning and requested the UPS 3 day shipping. There web site does say that on all next day, 2 day, and three day the item is guaranteed to ship the next day which should of been today. Yesterday I called the 1800# because I didn’t want to purchase it online with my debit card. It rang and rang until an automated service answered explaining if you have questions on orders you could email but nothing on if you would like to place an order, so I just went ahead and did it online. I checked my checking history and it still has not been withdrawn, also after the purchase they sent me an email with a shortcut to my order status page. My order status is blank and their is not tracking status or number for UPS tracking. So I guess it has not been shipped. They claim to be a family owned and operated in Tyler Texas which is like 6 hrs from here. Any one ever had a problem with this company? I'm really not mad there prices were good and they had a good selection, the website was very nice and navigable. Its just the gun looks so nice I cant wait and plus I paid like $18 on shipping because next week is spring break and I of course want to have it by then. Its crazy because the web site says its located in the deep piney woods of East Texas, which is true! I looked up the address on google maps and looked at the street view and all I see is a big house with pine trees out in the country just off a county road. http://www.airgunwarehouseinc.com/info.html
Unsafe speed ticket, marked incorrectly? I was in an accident last monday, and was approached by a Texas state trooper while in the ER, and was given a ticket for "unsafe speed". The road I was on was a very curvy country road that is notorious for a lot of accidents because of how slick the road gets when it is raining, and all the dangerous curves that have a 55mph speed limit. It had been lightly drizzling for about 15 minutes when I came upon one of the sharper curves in the road, and the car's backside slid out from under me, and I cut the wheel to avoid hitting another car coming the opposite direction. When I cut the wheel, the car slid sideways and off the side of the road - I panicked and tried to slam my brakes(which is a stupid thing to do in the first place, I know) and hit the gas pedal, causing me to slam into a cement sewage drain, and rolling twice before getting stopped and propped up by a fence. The paramedics and police arrived a short while later, while a nice woman helped me out of my car and into hers to get out of the cold. I never had a chance to talk to a police officer except to give them my license, phone number, and address before I was taken to the hospital. I did tell the officer, and two other paramedics, that I had no recollection of how fast I was going - but that it couldn't have been more than 40-45mph(in a posted 55mph speed zone). The woman who helped me out saw the accident(and I have a feeling she is the car I cut the wheel to avoid hitting), and even she said I couldn't have been going more than 40mph. My problem lies in the fact that the state trooper gave me a ticket for unsafe speed(he said to me that I told them I was going 45mph - even though as I already explained, I told them I couldn't have been going more than 40-45), and on top of that marked on my ticket that I was in a construction zone - I take this road to work and back every morning and I know it is NOT in a construction zone. I even checked the state highway conditions maps to be thorough, and there is no construction within 20 miles of the accident. Is there a way for me to fight this ticket based on the fact that I, nor any of the responding officers, do not know my exact speed when the car hydroplaned, or because the officer marked that I was in a construction zone even though I was not?
Local Dallas residents - i have a specific question about the area!? what is at the intersection of Lake June Road & Masters Road in Dallas? I can tell there is a Minyard's, and across the street is a Rent-A-Center. What else is at that intersection? Please be as specific as you can and name the corner it's on (Northwest, southeast etc) 10 points for the most detailed answer! below is a link to the google map of this intersection. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&q=Lake+June+Rd+%26+N+Masters+Dr,+Dallas,+Dallas,+Texas+75217&sll=32.880522,-96.750379&sspn=0.281403,0.617981&ie=UTF8&cd=1&geocode=Fdt78wEd7EI9-g&split=0&ll=32.734512,-96.648467&spn=0.008808,0.019312&z=16&iwloc=addr
what are the lines seen in this satellite pic of south Texas, just east of I35 & Callaghan, TX? http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&tab=wl just east of Callaghan, TX. They aren't growing anything out there, so it isn't farm roads I don't think...
help with zip codes please? ok im trying to order att internet and im really confused. first off, i live in a really wierd neighborhood because the zip codes are so weird. it looks like this http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=6777+sommerall+dr.+77084&sll=29.875127,-95.654826&sspn=0.008429,0.01929&g=6777+Sommerall+Dr,+Houston,+Harris,+Texas+77084&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=6777+Sommerall+Dr,+Houston,+Harris,+Texas+77084&ll=29.876225,-95.656264&spn=0.008429,0.01929&z=16 my apartments are where the (A) is. as you can see, the street is separated by the the highway FM 529(which is just a big road not really a highway at all) but here is the problem. that whole neighborhood(it has a wal-mart, target, food town, 2 gamestops, and a slew of other stores) uses the zip code 77095. only those 3 backstreets that im on (sommerall and smithstone and lakeview haven) use 77084 that whole area back ther is no bigger than a high school(the majority of it is just land). so my dilemma is that when i enter my address whit 77084, i can go to all the way to about the second to last page where they do a credit check and then it says it's unable to process my order online, but when i enter my my zip code as 77095 everything goes fine and i can go all the way to the final steps and everything and pay for my order(i haven't paid yet because this is confusing). so do i go by 77095 or what because they send the installtion kit through the mail and i know zip code is everything. i'm so confused and i don't want to get my info screwed up. oh and my apartments are the only apartments with the name they have in the 77095 or 77084 area codes if that makes a difference
How built the thousands of miles of unfinshed neighborhoods by Horizon City, TX? Why? Why are they abandoned? When flying over the area east of El Paso around Horizon City, TX while in route to Tucson and even on Googlearth, one can see thousands of miles of roads, cal-de-sacs, neighborhoods, streets, parkways and grided streets buldozed into at least 100,000 arces of former ranch and dry scrub land for what appears to be housing and real-estate development. It looks like it someone was planning a mega development of hundreds of thousands of houses, neighborhoods, subdivisions and I'm sure retail, malls and office parks too. But it appears it was all abandoned, deserted and forgotten after the land was surveyed, mapped, graded, with the highways and by-ways were sliced across the landscape. My question is more then one actually. Who built this mega gigantic development? When? Why? And why was it abandoned? Did it happen during the west Texas real-estate boom? Thank you for your assitance.
Rank the BS confereneces? Lets play it again 1) SEC - Self Explanitory 2) Pac 10. I would have put one if Washington would have defeated The Overated State University and UCLA did not get destroyed by the Runnin Utes. 3) Big East. Mainly by default, West Virginia, Rutgers and a very solid South Florida team. Louisville dropped off the map after losing to the Mighty Cuse possibly the worst team in college football, but Cincinatti did destroy Oregon State 4) Big XI- an impressive Oklahoma Squad and a very unimpressive texas squad that seems to just find ways to win. After that there is too much left to be desired. 5) ACC Big road win for FSU at a game Colorado, Miami beating TAMU. BC looks good Clemson may make some noise and Va Tech may be turning a corner. 6) Big 10. Teams this conference has lost too. Duke, FAU, App St. Bowling Green, Iowa State. Only Ohio State seems to want to play well this year
I don't have any money, and I need help organizing an intervention for my father (alcoholic)? How do I do this? I moved to Iowa from Oregon because I got layed off. I had no idea how bad things had become with him and his drinking. I've been here for 4 months and tonight we decided to go to Texas Roadhouse and have a steak (a VERY VERY rare occurance because we don't have any money. He's disabled and I'm an out of work truck-driver. I'm ready to go to work at K-mart if I have to, but anyway I got us a table at the texas Roadhouse and he parked the SuV (he shouldn't have been driving anyway but he wouldn't listen to me and let me drive). We had a discussion (more of an argument about if there was a Henry County in the state of Iowa. I didn't think there was, and he was positive, so while driving 75mph he reaches over to grab the map out of the glove box, and almost runs off the road. I grabbed wheel, barely missing a sign pole (which, by the way, read "speed limit, 65mph).... He screamed at me to NEVER GRAB the wheel while he is driving!. So I shut up and we were almost there anyway. Well, when we got there he said "oh, I'm not eating here, there's a line!!!!! (there were some people standing outside). I told him hold on, I'll go in an check. I went and got us a booth IMMEDIATELY. I told the waitress that I had to go back out and tell me dad so he could park. I did, and went back in and ordered a coke/pepsi (whatever they serve), and had already decided on my menu item when he came stumbling to the table and SLAMMED an Iowa map down so loud that everyone turned around to see what was going on. In the process, he spilled my pepsi and then he got a pen out and circled well-known cities in Iowa, and drew arrows to another city that was indeed, in a HENRY COUNTY, in Iowa (Sorry I didn't know that, dad). He stabbed at the map with the pen, then folded it up, and threw it. It hit some lady in the head. He got up and marched out. I apologized to the lady. I saw where he was parked and I walked up to the rear of the saturn VUE *stupidly*, and he put it in reverse and stomped on the accelerator, which ended up putting my right arm through the rear window and shattering it. It cut me in numerous places, and then he put it in drive, pulled up about 3 feet, then did it again!. I guess I'm slow because I weigh 180 pounds, because this time he clipped me in the uppoer thigh. By now I was out of the way. There were NUMEROUS WITNESSES ASKING ME IF i WAS 'OK'. No I'm not ok, call the police I said! They all did. My dad didn't even get out of the parking lot before the police pulled in from all directions, blocking his way out. He is a a retired Judge, and a lawyer. Now, tonight, he is in Jail for DUI and Assault and battery with a vehicle (a felony) in Iowa. They asked me if I wanted to pursue it (the assault and battery charge and I said no because I didn't want him to lose his pention. They patched me up on the scene (no need to go to the hospital, only a bunch of small cuts). They took him to jail and I went to my mom's house (via cab to my dad's house (we kinda live together, but I think that's going to come to an end), and I drove my pickup to my mom's house. We talked for about 3 hours, and when I got back to his house, that a-hole had already bonded out of jail and was home. He told me I had 36 hours to get out of the house. So now, what do I do. Do I just leave, or do I pay a visit to the Bettendorf Police department, remind them of the incident, show the pictures that I cleverly TOOK OF MY INJURIES, and tell them that I'd like to pursue charges. It will rip his $135,000 pension out from beneath his feet so fast that he'll be working at sonic before I even collect my damages. What do I do? I thank you for reading such a long and jumbled account of what happened. but, it's the gospel. That really happend. My own father, drunk, hit me 2wice with his SUV and was arrested for DUI, and now I'M BEING THREATENED WITH EVICTION. Should I take his income from him for the rest of his life and watch him work (failiingly, as a lawyer * he never makes it court cause he's always drunk*.) Or do I take pity on him and let him kill himself with alcohol? Let the answers flow. -john in davenport, Iowa
Writing a book! Need Opinions!? I started this rough draft tonight just free writing; its the beginning and just a draft, but I would love opinions and advice! The warped wooden door slammed behind the open faced palms of Naomi McRae. She could hear the loud running footsteps as the sweat poured from her brow. Her heart raced so quickly she was awaiting the moment it would pop right out of her chest. When the shouts and stomping ceased she let out a sigh of well contained breath. She swiped the top of her right wrist across her forehead clearing the dirty blonde hair from eyes. As she scanned the room, she had a slight wish that the view would be more pleasing to the eye. Although the room was old and falling apart, it was a place that she could call her own. She even felt comfortable here; unlike the life she had been born in to. She slowly stumbled into the bathroom to wash her face; kicking up a loose tile while on her way. She shrugged it off and turned the silver knob of the sink and washed the grunge of the day away. She felt like taking a long bath, but she couldn’t afford the water bill and besides the bathtub looked more like a trough than a place of cleansing. Just for a moment she wished she was back in Dallas. She quickly shook off the thought and reassured herself that she was where she needed to be; right there in Brooklyn. Every day was a new challenge filled with new obstacles for Naomi. She had come to Brooklyn with fifty dollars in her pocket and a worn out map with markings all over it. The map was why she was here. She thought about home a lot, but never had any intentions of going back. She knew she was leading a life that had a dead end road, but she was going to milk it for all it was worth. She had grown up in a place where everything she ever wanted was served to her on a silver platter. Although this life seems glamorous to most, Naomi knew that there was more to this life. If her younger self could only see she would become; that little princess on the Texas Ranch would be ashamed. She often wondered about how she ended up the way she did, but she tried not to dwell on it, because she knew in her heart she was doing what she was meant to do. Stealing and lying are shameful behaviors, but somehow Naomi justified by telling herself before every robbery it was “Do it or Die.” If she didn’t steal food or money she couldn’t provide for herself. She had tried the civil way of life by looking for a job in the city, but it seemed as if no one was willing to hire a seventeen year old runaway from Texas. The jobs she applied for did not know her life story they just knew that she didn’t have a high school diploma and that was enough to keep her from getting any job worth having. Alright I am still working on but an updated version is on my blog: sarah-of-the-era.blogspot.com if you would like to see the updated verstion! Thanks for your input!
College Football, Conference Realignment? In order to have 6 Conference Championship Games and more money through those CG's. Plus we won't have to hear about how the 12 team conferences have such a harder road to travel. The non-BCS teams will adjust, and at least after this shift don't have to worry about getting picked from again. I'm more interested in whether you think it's a good idea than a realistic possibility, I know it ain't gonna happen. What do you think? SEC- Stays the Same East Division Kentucky Vanderbilt Tennessee South Carolina Georgia Florida West Division Mississippi St. Ole Miss Alabama Arkansas Auburn LSU Big 12- Stays the same North Division Colorado Nebraska Kansas St. Kansas Iowa St. Missouri South Division Oklahoma St. Oklahoma Texas Tech Baylor Texas A&M Texas ACC- adds South Florida and East Carolina becasue both schools fit perfectly into the ACC geography, just look at the map, the fewer travel expenses the better. Virginia Tech and Boston College go back to the Big East. Atlantic Division Maryland Wake Forest North Carolina St. Clemson Florida St. *South Florida Coastal Division *East Carolina Virginia Duke North Carolina Georgia Tech Miami Pac-12- adds Utah and BYU, a great rivalry. The Pac 12 could possibly add Boise State and Hawaii instead. North Division Washington Washington St. Oregon Oregon St. *Utah *BYU South Division California Stanford UCLA USC Arizona Arizona St. Big 10- ignore the name. It adds it's longtime welcomed guest Notre Dame and Central Michigan. Penn State joins the Big East. North Division *Central Mich. Wisconsin *Notre Dame Mich. St. Michigan Minnesota South Division Illinois Northwestern Purdue Indiana Ohio St. Iowa Big East- Adds the NYC market with Army, the Balt-DC market with Navy and adds one of the best rivalries in College Football. By adding BC and VT it adds the Boston Market, and two rivals who already are familiar with the Big East and rikindles those rivalries. Penn State also adds and excellent team and renews the Pitt-Penn game which was once a major rivalry. North Division Syracuse *Boston College Connecticut *Army Rutgers *Penn State South Division West Virginia *Virginia Tech Louisville *Navy Cincinnati Pittsburgh Any rivals that find themselves in seperate divisions can solve this with a permenant rival like Pitt-Penn State, Army-Navy, ND-Purdue, Minn-Iowa and Mich-Ohio State. Whatta ya think?

I live in Arizona, and I am looking to buy a horse out-of-state in California or Texas..etc, because the horses I find in AZ are either ponies, overpriced, or in some strange city that is a trillion miles away that cannot be located on a map very easilly. So, I am looking at horses in different states that are nearby. I do not own a trailer, and I don't think anyone at the small boarding stable I am at wants to go on a long road trip to haul a horse.. so I am also looking at haulers such as findahauler.com. Does anybody have experience, positive or negative, using commerical horse haulers such as findahauler for horse hauling? My limit is 5k, and I am looking for a sound horse that can jump and is at least 15hh.
Any Crazy Suggestions? Me and two friends are going to go on a road trip in two years. i will be 18, my friends will be 17 and 15 anyways we are already planning and we thought of a bunch of funny things to do...but we want more. if you have any really funny suggestions that would be great :) this is what we have so far: - Stop and take a picture in every state - Stop and run through every sprinkler we see - Eat a giant burger at a truck stop - Sleep in cheap motels - ***Pack air mattresses*** (for health reasons) - Stop in Texas to get Shane - Drive a tractor -Protest a rodeo - Stop in New Mexico and visit the big ball of string - Complain loudly about how disappointing it is - Drive on to Cali :) - Crash a random beach bonfire - Take a picture with people who have cool outfits - Visit the houses on the star map and leave them angry letters - Go to Disney Land - Ask directions to the street we're on or to a building directly in front of us - Visit my sister - Go to a party - Ride a trolley - Reenact the deodorant commercial - Be english or southern for a day - Pretend Rachael is Selena Gomez and ask for her autograph - Pretend to see a celebrity, start a crowd, then run - Watch the sunset on the beach ohkayy and by the way. i dont want any answers that say "oh thats stupid" or "be realistic" i dont care how immature all this stuff sounds..we are still doing it..its not changing. we are only waiting two years so i can have another person drive too so just be cool and give me some awesome answers :) ohhkayy let me try and clarify one more time... we do not care what the "natvies" think of us when we are there we could be going to like Idaho and we would do the exact same thing..so its not just a california thing we like to take in the best of our teenage lives and act like fools until its too late to act like that anymore when we get older it will not be right for us to act like that..but until then we are going to have fun with the time we have left OHKAY?! I dont want to hear how crazy you think i am. if you dont have something funny to add i dont want to hear your opinion

McCain might turn to his longtime hero Colin Powell, the former Secretary of State and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. =========================================== One of the stranger ironies the Constitution has bestowed on American politics is this: some 50 million people just finished choosing the parties' two nominees in a grueling, yearlong primary campaign that cost millions of dollars and captivated the world. But when it comes to picking vice-presidential nominees, only two people on the planet get a vote: John McCain and Barack Obama. Between an explosion of democracy in the spring and an even bigger explosion of self-determination in the fall is a brief interlude of, well, something that Vladimir Putin could probably live with. Everyone knows that the main qualification for the vice presidency is being ready, at a moment's notice, to step into the most powerful job in the world. But what qualifies you to do the job and what qualifies you to get the job may involve two completely different calculations. Both McCain and Obama have their selection committees already at work scouring candidates' financial and personal backgrounds, voting records and public statements. In a sudden setback that could slow the Democratic nominee's search, Obama lost his top Veep hunter, Jim Johnson, after the former Fannie Mae executive came under scrutiny for accepting preferential mortgages from a lender linked to the foreclosure crisis. Both camps will finish their work by early August, if not sooner. When they do, the choice of Vice President should tell us something — maybe a lot — about how McCain and Obama think and how they could run the government. There are a lot of ways to choose a Vice President, and each comes with risks. Here are five of the most reliable: 1. Play to Your Strength Perhaps the fastest way to send a message about who you are is to pick someone who appears to be ... just like you. In 1992, Bill Clinton picked another Southern baby boomer with a moderate record and a full head of hair. Then Clinton, Al Gore and their wives took a bus trip that looked like a rolling scene from The Big Chill. Picking Gore reinforced Clinton's claim to be part of a new generation of Democratic pols, liberated from the tired (and losing) politics of the past. If McCain were to take a similar approach, he might pick a No. 2 who has strong national-security credentials or another maverick who defies party labels — perhaps someone like independent Connecticut Senator Joe Lieberman. By this standard, Obama might opt for a partner who is young and charismatic and also breaks a historic barrier of race or gender — perhaps Kansas governor Kathleen Sebelius — or one who transcends partisan politics, like Republican Senator Chuck Hagel of Nebraska. 2. Look at the Map An old-fashioned road atlas is a good Michelin guide for three-star running mates. The right choice can add balance to a nominee whose roots may seem a tad too effete to go over well in the heartland — or add some coastal glitz to a rural candidate's prairie-flat steadiness. As it happens, the last two candidates to make their picks with geography clearly in mind — John Kennedy in 1960 and Michael Dukakis in 1988 — were both from Massachusetts. And they both picked Texas Senators — Lyndon Johnson and Lloyd Bentsen — for the second spot on their ticket. More narrowly, the map can help a nominee make a play for a state that is crucial in November, though that is never a sure bet. Kennedy, with Johnson as his running mate, squeezed by Nixon to win Texas with a margin of merely 46,000 votes, in what turned out to be one of the closest elections in American history. But Dukakis got swamped in the Lone Star State, where Bentsen's considerable popularity was no match for the thrill of having another Texan, George H.W. Bush, in the Oval Office. This year, given the closeness of the race and the importance of winning a few battleground states, McCain and Obama will keep at least one eye on the Electoral College map right through November. That means Obama will be considering choices like Ohio governor Ted Strickland (though Strickland says he would turn down the offer) or one of three possibilities from Virginia — Governor Tim Kaine, former governor Mark Warner or Senator Jim Webb. Or perhaps a Westerner like Montana governor Brian Schweitzer. McCain might get an Electoral College boost by picking Minnesota governor Tim Pawlenty, Pennsylvania's ex-governor Tom Ridge or former rival Mitt Romney, who has family roots in pivotal Michigan. 3. Shore Up Your Weak Side On the other hand, the nominee might need a partner who compensates for his vulnerabilities or perceived weaknesses. That was plainly what George W. Bush had in mind in 2000 when he picked Dick Cheney, a seasoned Washington insider with a long foreign policy résumé (who also happened to be heading up Bush's vice-presidential-selection process). And Gore knew that in picking Lieberman, who had been one of Bill Clinton's harshest Democratic critics during the Monica Lewinsky scandal, he was buying some distance from the incumbent Commander in Chief. In McCain's case, any doubts that voters have about electing a 72-year-old President might be allayed if he tapped someone far younger. And it wouldn't hurt, in a year when gasoline prices and financial jitters have moved past the Iraq war to the top of voter concerns, to look for a sidekick who is more comfortable than McCain is with economic policy. It may well turn out to be someone about whom the conservative base, which is a little leery of McCain, is more enthusiastic. Some possibilities the two might want to consider as hedges against their shortcomings: McCain could pick Romney or Pawlenty, both of whom have executive experience and relative youth, or perhaps an economic-policy expert like former Ohio Congressman Rob Portman, who served as both budget chief and trade representative for Bush. Obama, however, might want to address concerns about his youth and inexperience by picking a running mate who is older and has strong national-security credentials. He could turn to seasoned, silver-haired foreign policy experts like Senate Foreign Relations Committee chairman Joe Biden or former Senate Armed Services chairman Sam Nunn. Pennsylvania governor Ed Rendell or former South Dakota Senator Tom Daschle would add some experience as well. 4. Hug Your Rival Even after a long, hard primary fight (and sometimes because of it), the ultimate winner almost always has to consider bringing the loser aboard the ticket. That's what Ronald Reagan did when he picked George H.W. Bush in 1980 and how John Kerry came to choose John Edwards in 2004. Sometimes party unity simply demands it. "We ended up with the obvious choice," says adviser Bob Shrum of Kerry's decision to tap Edwards. "People in the party overwhelmingly wanted him." Then again, a former adversary can have extra baggage. For one thing, there will be lingering tensions and suspicions that former rivals still harbor ambitions of their own. The other party is certain to dredge up every damaging sound bite — "Voodoo economics!" — that your former rival hurled in your direction back in February. These worries are usually overcome. Already it's hard to miss the steady thaw in McCain's once frosty relationship with Romney as the former Massachusetts governor throws himself — and his formidable fund-raising operation — into campaigning for the man who beat him. And Hillary Clinton's supporters — starting with her husband — are letting it be known that they expect Obama to give her serious consideration. 5. Hire Some Pizazz Some nominees find themselves in need of excitement. That explains why Walter Mondale tapped Geraldine Ferraro, the first woman on a national ticket, in 1984. "This is an exciting choice," he said at the time. Within weeks, Mondale did not see it that way. Given their difficult history of tangling over just about everything, hardly anyone would have expected Bob Dole to pick Jack Kemp as his running mate in 1996 — least of all Kemp. As little as three weeks before he was selected, recalls Dole's campaign manager, Scott Reed, Kemp was grumbling in GOP circles that he hadn't been given a speaking spot at the party's convention. So why did Dole pick him? "We were going for oxygen, heat and energy," Reed says. "We went through the traditional list, and we just weren't happy with what we were coming up with." Kemp later turned out to be far more complicated a partner than Dole or Reed had imagined. So who might be pizazz choices for this year's contenders? McCain might turn to his longtime hero Colin Powell, the former Secretary of State and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Excitement is hardly what Obama needs, but he could pick a woman, such as Sebelius or Arizona governor Janet Napolitano, who might force McCain to spend more time in his otherwise safe home state. But if you venture too far out of the box, voters will scratch their heads sooner or later — and eventually you might too. George H.W. Bush seems to have entered his Veep wish list into one of those dating computers back in 1988. That year he stunned nearly all his advisers when he tapped someone whose Midwestern roots were an antidote to his privileged Kennebunkport background, who was young to his old, who could balance his moderation with a dose of conservatism, and came up with Dan Quayle. The ticket beat the Democrats that fall, but by 1992 even Bush was trying to nudge him off the ticket. The ploy failed. Which is a reminder that however you choose a running mate, another rule will always apply: hard as it is to find a good one, it is sometimes harder to get rid of a bad one.
