Does anyone know how to save aerial photos in microsoft live maps? save to your computer?

Are Aerial Maps Censored By The Government? I was looking at "Windows Live" aerial map of Washington D.C. When looking at key places, I noticed two things. The White House is visible to the lowest aerial view, but it's obvious that the roof covered over. And when I looked at the capital building, The building and immediate area around it is pixulated. Is this something that has been done voluntarily or was it mandated by the government for security purposes?

What happened to maps.live.com? Hello, I used to love maps.live.com, for there great aerial imagery of my area, that google maps/earth can't provide, DO NOT tell me to go to google maps, but whenever i go to maps.live.com on my ibook, it sends me to http://intl.local.live.com/ and i can only enter "what" and "where" and its really annoying, is it only windows compatible? I have tried it in camino and safari (the only two browsers on our school laptops) can someone shed some light on this?

I need help with recieving Aerial/Topo maps for hunting? I live in Washington state.... Anyone know how/where I would get a laminated aerial/topo map for a specific hunting area, without having to spend a bunch of money? Do libraries carry aerial maps that I could possibly make copies of? I have found many resources on google, but I would have to spend more than I would like for a map, and I most likely have to wait a few days before I could get it through the mail. Why are Google Maps aerials of such poor quality? Google seems to get all of the acclaim over their maps, but in reality their aerials are very poor for much of the United States. I need to find out the address of a certain house I used to live in. I have the street but nothing else.? I do not have the house number, current owners name or anything. I no longer have records telling me the house number. Was told I would be able to locate it by an aerial map?

How Do I get corrected an inacccurate address location on mapquest and google maps & GPS devices? When you type my address into google maps or mapquest it gives the wrong location. This is namely due to the fact that the street I live on was built 5 years ago. It is an extentsion of an existing street and it shows up on the aerial photos if you change to that view. Is there anyway to contact the vendors who provide this info. to Google, MapQuest and other GPS devices. If people use what is there, they wind up on the wrong side of a busy street and it is one of those "you can't get there from here" situations, w/o doing a lot of turns. Many thanks.

My backyard neighbor keeps mowing part of my yard that they think is theirs? How should I tell them to stop? When we moved into our home over 4 years ago we were told by our back yard neighbor that the lot line stops at two large trees in OUR yard and not at the ditch that seperates our yards. We are on 1/3 of an acre and they have just about 2/3... I located the pins in our yard and have an aerial map (that I know is NOT a legal document) that shows outlines that the lot line stops at the ditch line. What would be the proper verbage to tell (ask) him to stop mowing our lawn from the ditch (that he has to travel over to get to our trees) to the trees? And I believe it is the brother of the lady that lives in the house (which we have never met, btw). They only mow about 4 times during the summer (we live in WI) but we mow 2-3 times a month and when he does mow, he cuts it so short that it burns the grass. I just don't want him to be able to claim our portion of the yard and am just tired of him mowing it when it really is our yard. Yes, it is kind of him, but he thinks it is his property.

I have the most beautiful living fence---leyland cypress spaced 10 feet apart down about a 250 feet stretch. This is also my windbreak from the north, and I love those trees--yea tree hugger-not. but I do love to walk and look at each one-make sure it is doing fine. On google map it is great. I worked so hard to plant. It took me 3 plantings--I have so many rabbits--they ate up my first 2 trys. Sad part this hot summer -8 died, and digging up the old tree was hard work. I initially planted them in the pouring rain, and the hole half filled with water by the time it was dug. Anyways, I am so happy, the ones that the drought killed r replaced. This wednesday may be raining and I can kill the grub worms and ants I found in the new holes.........HOORAY! question? would anyone want an aerial photo of your property? go me it is like 3D......and I have to imagine how it will look from the air before I even plant.

I think they put the water there and dredge it for more efficiency. My girlfriend says the water is there naturally and then they decided to use dredges. They are mining for rock used in roads and construction as I understand it.

I am in search of aerial pictures of western NY state.? I found my mother's address, and I want to know what type of home she lives in, any suggestions? I know her full address, zip, city, state, street, but I want to know if she lives in a house, trailer, apt, condo, etc. I am so curious, but she'd never tell me the truth, so I can't ask her. I went to the google maps, mapquest, yahoo maps and tried to do the aerial view, but to no avail. I checked out real estate, but since no one around her is listed, no one came up. She has 6 neighbors, numbers all different. They live on one street, but the numbers are pretty spaced. The address numbers are 905, 507, 316, 560, 703, and one number (728) is used for two people. It sounds like maybe trailers, but I'm not sure, and I'd hate to assume the wrong thing. Anyway, I'd like to visually see her neighborhood and street and surroundings, and the aerial maps don't zoom in that far. Is there anything else I can do?

It was like i was looking down at myself. I noticed all the details as the car was moving, convenient stores, shops etc...i then saw myself park the car near a lake. I then saw myself fishing (i don't fish). I caught 1 fish, then i got back in my car and went to a mental hospital. I admitted myself in it and then i entered a room where i saw a boy chasing a ghost of a woman around another map of the U.S and there were 2 or three unknown people in the background...i had the same exact dream of the scene where the boy was chasing the ghost and the background people a week ago, there was just more detail before that in my last dream....i would appreciate...... ...any advise or an interpretation on this....i have had dreams where iview things from space in dreams before, it is very weird because it's like i'm viewing earth from space! again i would appreciate advise on this.........

Can I fence in my property? I live in a semi detached house which I bought 3 years ago. To the rear of my property another semi-detached block of 2 houses which sit at right angles to my property were being built when I moved into my house...the gardens of both the properties, which are very long and narrow, run parallel to my back garden. I received a letter last week from a solicitor acting on behalf of the developer...it stated that due to a land registery query the developer is unable to register the 2 new properties...they are asking for my consent to change what they call an 'established boundary'. They enclosed an aerial photo marked with where they want the new boundary to be and the boundary runs along a fence that I erected last summer at the end of my garden. ( my garden is tiny by the way...only 25ft x 18ft and I live in a rural area!). There was a low, rotting fence there before which my neighbour told me the builders of the 2 properties had put up, as I have small children I replaced it for safety....... Also enclosed in the letter was a map indicating where the official boundary of my property is.... I got one hell of a surprise when I saw that the map shows that a good portion of both the gardens behind me actually form part of my plot!. this amounts to a plot over twice the size of my garden as it stands!....I went to the land registry and paid for a sealed and certified copy of my folio and lo and behold the extra land is registered as belonging to me and of course there is a charge attached to this land for my mortgage. The neighbouring house in my semi-block got the same letter and they have discovered too that they have more land than they realised. So what should I do next....Can I fence off the land that Is mine?....if I do these houses have little or no garden left and cannot access their oil tanks......One of the owners of the houses knows the situation and has a solicitor involved. So where do you think I stand legally....Im not interested in selling as I would love a bigger garden as we have never had room for swings et. my shed, washing line and oil tank take up most of the room. The thick concrete walls and iron gates are themselves protected by a double fence overseen by watchtowers and patrolled by attack dogs. More recently, scores of Palestinians were incarcerated in 1391 for interrogation, which finally led to the disclosure of a prison the state decreed did not exist, the daily added. First Prisoners According to the paper, the first prisoners at Facility 1391 were Lebanese, including Sheikh Abd al-Karim Obeid, a spiritual leader to Hizbollah, members of his families and supporters and Shiite leader Mustafa Dirani. After his release, Dirani filed a lawsuit in the Israeli courts alleging that he was sodomized by his Israeli interrogators. The legal action names a "Major George" who ordered a soldier to rape him. Other former prisoners at 1391 have described how they were stripped naked for interrogation, blindfolded and handcuffed, and a stick was pressed against their buttocks as they were threatened with rape. Another Lebanese prisoner, Ahmed Ali Banjek, told the Guardian he was tortured at 1391 into confessing that he smuggled a surface-to-air missile into the Israeli-controlled zone of southern Lebanon. He said he was forced to sit on a stick until it penetrated his anus. Why Secret Facility? Manal Hazzan, a human rights lawyer who helped expose the prison's existence, told the British daily that the Israeli law does entitle authorities and the army to hide prisoners, questioning the need for a secret facility. "Our main conclusion is that it exists to make torture possible - a particular kind of torture that creates progressive states of dread, dependency, debility," she said. Unlike any other Israeli prison, the International Red Cross, lawyers and members of the Israeli parliament have been refused access, according to the paper. The Israeli government sufficed to say that the prison is situated on a secret military base and used for "classified activities." Ami Ayalon, a former head of Israel's intelligence service Shin Bet, said such a facility should have no room in a country boasted as a democracy. "I knew there was a facility not under the responsibility of the Shin Bet, but under the responsibility of the military. I didn't think then, and I don't think today, that such an institution should exist in a democracy," the daily quoted him as saying. Zahava Gal-On, a leftwing MP, described 1391 as "one of the signs of totalitarian regimes and of the third world." Dalia Kerstein, an Israeli human rights activist and director of the Center for the Defense of the Individual (HAMOKED), was horrified to find out there was such a facility. "I was shocked to find out there is such a facility. I don't want the country I live in to have such a secret prison," she said, adding that they are seeking to close it. "I've met five people from different cities across the West Bank, from different organizations, and they all describe the same methods of torture. They're not beating people but there is very strong psychological torture that results in people hallucinating or having breakdowns," she added to the paper.
